I am currently still in Chicago until Wednesday and am probably too giddy over what transpired over the last 3 days to objectively report on The Touch & Go Records 25th Anniversary Party that just went down. Saw about 18 of the 25 acts over 3 days at the Hideout on Wabansia. Will post plenty of photos and some notes as Scissorkick devotes the entrirety of next week to the world’s greatest rock and roll label. No Slint, no Don Cab, but no bother, since everyone else stepped it up and made it one of the most historic 3-day weekends in indie rock history. Stay tuned.
